London in My Eyes.

After dreaming about London for so long~~ so so long~~ Visited it in January alas!
It thrilled me so much to have a dream come true :)

Even better, I had lil Ying to babysit me when I was there. How I love my galfriends!

Uploaded a tonne loads of pictures, showing how much I did enjoy my short stay at London and how deeply I am still in love with it :D

I'm getting too lazy to describe~ pictures say it all ;p

and my cute tour guide got a lil lost. lol.

It somehow reminded me of the one scene in 'Harry Potter'.

This is definitely my favourite picture of the trip! The Tower Bridge is so beautiful at night! :)

Ying spotted my name~

The Natural History Museum. Was thinking of how Kai Yong Yong will enjoy the museum. Really am hoping to bring him there one day, hopefully soon!

Was imagining how much my lil brother will enjoy seeing the dinosaurs. Ah, I miss my siblings~

When travelling means more than just a journey.

Visiting London and Cambridge was a great start of the year, especially when you spend it with people who means something to you, people whom you share durable friendship that is not measurable.

The ever familiar faces even if we didn't see each other every single day. I always miss you both!

Stayed over at london at ying's and i learnt about sleeping bag. lol.

How i wish we did punting ;p

Oldest church at Cambridge, I find it really cute.

The beautiful St Johns College!

...and many more pictures:

Back at Vonne's accommodation, forgot what it's called, but it's grand! ;p

Dinner with my SSFs :) it was so yummy~ cooked with loves ;p

Caught the beautiful sun rise. Too beautiful for a morning. :)

My favourite definitely.

King's College! really love the building and wonder why didn't i work hard and study more before to study there lol.

Vonne's library. Yes, i have decided, it belongs to vonne.

The legendary bridge at Queens College.

Emo-ing at vonne's favourite park. lol.

I couldn't stop laughing at this pic ><

So yea, I had the best time of January 2012 with my 2 very special friends:
Ying, thanks for the company despite how busy you were :) I had seen so much of London (pictures coming up soon ;) ) and it was a great catch-up.

Vonne, the only girl who will cut burger into one third for each, thanks for the time despite how busy you were as well :) Cambridge will never look the same without you bringing and leading around!

I miss you both so much, and I seriously can't wait to see yous soon!!! So excited I am going to cryyyyyyy!!!

THANK YOU MY LOVELIES, again and again, and forever.
Yous are one for the best and most beautiful things that have happened to me.

Yay!

Applied for elective in China in January, trying my luck out.
Waited for 2 months and thought i failed.
Checked my mailbox 2 weeks ago to find a mail from Queen's started with 'Congratulations!'
I GOT IT!
Surprised and overjoyed!

That will do good for my CV and most importantly, for a good learning experience.
Every pro comes with con, meaning this summer, i won't get to spend much time back home.
A price to pay for a slightly ambitious move.

I miss home, and talking to mum, knowing that she was all alone at home, with dad busy at KL, Da Jie at Aus all year long, San Jie at Genting with Chian Han and Kai Yong Yong at Taylor's, wasn't pleasant at all.
I wish i could hug my mummy in my arms right now.
I wish i could just tele-pop home right now.

Oh well, it's supposed to be a happy post.
I AM GOING TO NANJING! Something small achieved, but am happy for what I get.
Gotta make it worth the price of 6 weeks and 800 pounds.
Am really looking forward to it :)

love, katherine.
