Can you sing non-stop for 6 hours?

guess what, i can, and I DID. haha.
kris and i went to IOI mall at puchong to kill time on the Friday.

we didn't had our breakfast and lunch before going red box, plus me waking up late (sorry kris i made you wait again..), we were dead hungry before singing.
ordered the food before singing, but the food came really really late, like an hour after placing the order, we ended up singing in hunger for the 1st hour.
well fed in the middle of the singing session, happily singing MANY MANY songs.
and just when we thought we're almost done with singing and can leave for dinner at around 6, a waiter came in and announced:
'you girls can sing till 8.'

we were shock at first and even asked different waiters for 3 times just to make sure that there wasn't any mistake, and just to be sure that we didn't have to pay extra without knowing it..

so yea, we confirmed that we could sing till 8. AWESOME!
we sang with full strength for the past 4 hours and continuing to sing for another 2 hours was a real challenge.
anyway, just to not waste the offer, we didn't give up, and continue to sing.

and kris kris chose songs like 'Hurt' by Christina Aguilera, 'How to Live Without you' by Mariah Carey, and 'It's my life' by Bon Jovi, which are quite vocally-challenged, to sing.
we nearly, NEARLY died singing. and we even altered some lyrics, from 'i just want to live while i'm alive' to 'i just want to finish this song while alive', showing how burned-out we were. haha! good time!

pictures of the day:

the mic that i was so committed to for 6 hours.

kris and i. we can sing! wee~

kristel again. x)

i was so happy to have gotten to see my beloved Raymond Lam.
my heart melts whenever i see his face, though it's through the pathetic television screen.

feeling tired after 4 hours.

imagine how tired after 6 hours.

anyway, it's super worth it!!!!! it's only 16 bucks each for a 6-hour singing session, with drink and meal! muahahaha! i love RED BOX.

dead hungry after trying our best singing, we went to try out a new restaurant at IOI Boulevard, called Vive la Vida.
waiting for the food =)

nice ambiance.

quite an interesting hanging lamp.

look at the bottles! simply lovely! xp

THE FOOD!

yummy yummy pennette pasta!

heavenly mushroom soup! it's really satisfying!

so so cheese bread. wouldn't wan to order it for the 2nd time. xp

we guess the pork knuckle at the restaurant is kind of splashy as we saw many diners having it. hmm, must give it a try the very next time with more people around. =)
it's too much for just kris and i.

i had one good day! SING K AGAIN SOON! ;)

love, katherine.
