What a night~

for obvious reasons, everyone loves barbecue!
it's all about eating (food! chicken wings, sausages, cocktails, sweet corns, sweet potatoes n yes! marshmallow!) and having plenty of fun with friends!

last Tuesday night, PM 16 had a great time at Taylor's college's park.

it was a hectic and frantic day! we had our classes early in the morning, from 8.oo p.m. until 4.00 p.m.! well, not going to complain how miserable life can be when i slept at 1.00 ++ a.m. the night before and ended up having no time for even a 30-minutes nap. SOB. never mind, what i want from my classmates were big great smiles on their faces. =)

i was praying hard that it would not rain and my prayer was answered! the weather was really 'good'! it didn't rain! instead, the sun was highly hung on the sky, giving off the harmful UV rays, providing us the unbearable heat. it's sooooooo hot!!! my classmates and i had to walk under the blazing sun (with umbrella~ella ella e e e e under my umbrella..ela..ela..e e e e e e e *addicted to Rhianna's song*) for approximately 15 minutes. imagine that! *sweat!!!!*

-it's really warm and i think we should really treat ourselves a cup of mc flurry.-

forget about the radiating sun, we actually had no enough time to ready our food! we came out with the idea of having this barbecue on Monday, which is the day before the barbecue.
no time to marinate the chicken, no time to prepare the drinks and no time to waste!
fortunately, carrefour sells almost everything we need! cheers for carrefour!

guess what, we didn't know how to pick fresh cucumbers and vonne had to call her mum to seek her advice. it was kinda embarrassing that 18-year-old girls don't know how to pick cucumbers. =p anyway, we're learning.

y cucumbers? science students, you should know, for health concern.

it's doesn't mean that we're calculative when we have calculator in our hands while doing our shopping. we just want to be wise consumers. OK?

-we found chicken wings! lots of them (of course)!-

we wanted to buy marinated chicken's wings, BUT it's too expensive!

-we ended up buying the 'non-marinated' chicken's wings.-


after settling the food, four of us went back to the college by taxi, carrying our food while the rest of us had to walk all the way back to the college. it's been a while since i last did my exercise, so it wasn't that bad doing some 'walking'. *puff puff it's tiring*
