[yeah! we got our hearts~]
surprisingly, the butcher was not there, we tried to ask his colleague where was him in the 1st place and where were our precious hearts but the said 'they don't know' and asked us to come back after an hour. MAYBE the butcher would be there.we were so hungry after attending classes from 8 till 3 with only an hour of break at 11.
so we decided to feed our stomach 1st.
Jul and i wanna have Japanese food at shushi king and of course i agreed with that. hey hey, i have a shushi king's member card~ 10% of discount is just too alluring.after eating, we did a little shopping, u know girls~
Back to carrefour, we were praying hard that the butcher would be there, showing us the hearts we have been longing for with his captivating smile. unpredictably, the butcher wasn't there!
this time, we knew something is wrong. something is darn wrong!
His colleague told us that they didn't know why he wasn't coming and they said HE WOULD ONLY BE THERE ONLY IF CARREFOUR NEEDS BEEF! TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!
I didn't know how should i react and the only thing i know was..keep asking his colleague bout him. Yi ying phoned the manager and our effort was in vain. his manager said he has no responsibility on the butcher's promise. well said the manager.
well, i tried to 'communicate' with another Bangladesh (oops..sorry, i forget to mention that the butcher is also a Bangladesh), trying to find out anything bout the butcher and the Bangladesh gave me a few phone numbers and asked me to tried calling whoever he/she is. It's just another waste of time.
Finally, the Bangladesh helped us with his cell phone, calling his friend (at last!). He used some sort of Bangladesh language which no one else (unless you are a Bangladesh) would understand on his phone and when he ended his call, he surprised us with a shocking news.
'THE HEARTS WERE SOLD TO OTHERS.'
(he should tell me in the very beginning)
no other words from him and just that. i was expecting a 'sorry'.
simply ludicrous!
my conclusion was : never trust a butcher anymore!after all, i still got a heart from a friend (thanks whay chiat.) and had a great time during the dissection.
gonna show u guys some really cool pics during our biology practical:
the biggest heart i ever seen.
poor thing..sobz..eftahl told me that he was trying to create a lipid-free heart.
I have to say that..science is really cool~ u will never know what it is until you really put yourself into it.
