• studied like mad for summative and EOS with kris at starbucks!

• stressed myself out for exams!

• lucky to have one really good facilitator for PBL!

• went shopping after exams with my gals!

• chilled out after exams with nice people!

• celebrated mummy's birthday! love you loads mummy!!!!

• cam-whore with carlyn when she came back for the 2nd time in june!

• had happy time with the family!

• visited spore with carlyn!

• went to winter warmers with muar's friends!

• finally went to the clinic (a pub) and totally love it there!

• tried sex on the beach and think that it is one of the coolest drinks on earth!

• went to universal studio singapore!

• had yummy yummy food at spore!

• fall in love with hokkien mee!

• had a ride at the singapore flyers with my aunt and cousins!

• fall in love with the beauty of singaland!

• had a day of food marathon with my gals! funny faces due to overloaded stomach:

• tried nice milk tea, recommended by becky!

• went to east coast park, cycling with lovely ladies!

• at timpani plaza, tried the legendary egg tarts at the kfc there!

• had nice gals' talk with my gals!

• went bugis shopping with leaf and had the nicest apple strudel at ritz!

• got myself hooked to starbucks' drinks with coffee jelly in it!

• had nice dinner at bakerzin on the last day of elective! found the prettiest cake i can ever asked for!

• durian's party at Prof KC Tan's house!

• GREATEST elective at SGH with a group of cool gals!

• 1st time wearing the scrub!

• happy to get to see liposuction and mastectomy!

• happy to get the opportunity to learn from my favourite surgeon, Dr. BK Tan!

• got to know other cool surgeons at SGH!

looking back at what has been going on for the past 9 months, my my, very lucky girl i am!

am thankful for everything that i have gotten so far!

i have learnt to appreciate things well!

2010 is still running, and i can't wait to fill it with more and more happy!

can't put everything here, but everything is very well kept in a very special chamber in the heart.

no doubt that every tomorrow keeps getting better!

how often do we actually count our blessings?

i complain so much all the time that most of the time, i forget, i am more than blessed to be where i am right now, being who i am right now.

in year 2010, i:

• had a great new year eve and new year celebration!
  
  

• had great time with tina and fat before she left for labuan!

• get to celebrate tina's 7 years of birthday before she left for adelaide.

• got carlyn back and went travelling around!

• got alain visited malaysia and had loads of fun!

• celebrated chinese new year with my loved ones!

• had awesomely yummy food for reunion lunch! yes, not dinner. kang family's special-ness.

• started sem 3 with the lovely ladies in FEB!

holiday! part II

i find this holiday a short one for a few good reasons: the 1st one being not having enough time to rest; 2nd one being not having enough time to travel more; 3rd one being not having enough time to be at home.

had kristel and leaf visited muar before travelling to spore.

had a really good time eating, talking and taking countless pictures.

it was a really great time and i was so glad that they visited muar!

CHILLING, check.

2 days before elective starts, went to china town, clark quay, universal studio and bugis!!!!

took pictures like there's no tomorrow and i had so much fun i can't describe the satisfaction i had deep deep deep inside.

my very 1st elective is the best elective i can ever ever asked for.

i have learnt so much and have seen so much.

SGH has done a really good job!

plastic, re-constructive and aesthetic department has been a great great place to learn.

i like it a lot.

Me: 'okay!'

[cutting the plastic shield]

Dr. BK Tan: 'hmmmm, you will be one very good plastic surgeon.'

[i was so happy deep inside can cry]

Me: 'huh? why?'

Dr. BK Tan: 'cause you can cut the plastic very well.'

[Dr. BK Tan paused for a while; me, stoned]

Dr. BK Tan: 'hahahahahaha.'

Me: 'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! doc, very lame la!'

Dr. BK Tan: 'wah, you have very big emotional change a~'

btw, today's elective's good! i learnt a lot and had fun at the same time. totally inspired by all the cool surgeons!

holiday!

let's see, for the past one month, i watched countless movies and the only few that i can still remember are 'despicable me', 'predators', 'inception', and 'ip man legend is born'.

regretted watching predators, which i cursed from the beginning till the end and the 5-min pause in between due to the malfunction of the cinema at muar made it worse. xp

MOVIES, check.

went to singapore with carlyn last week and i bought myself a dress from forever 21, there's mad sales at all the shopping malls at orchard road! shock-ness beyond words~

bought myself a pair of charles and keith, mad chaep at S$38. went bugis and got myself 8 pairs of earrings, 2 belts and mad cute undies. i love love love bugis.

bought a polo bag yesterday while buying a polo belt for my lovely lil bro, yeah yeah!

and got a nine west bag from carlyn~

got a pair of nice black heels from carlyn as well~

got a nice red hot top from kai ying ying the younger sis~

my siblings make me a very very happy girl.

SHOPPING, check.

i finally get myself some quiet times to read and yes! i am done done with 'escaped'.

got myself a new book 'the six thinking hats'. yes, i love it and am reading it at slow yet enjoyable pace.

carlyn gave me her 'bleyn sisters', and i shall read it once i am done with 'the six thinking hats'.

am really happy that i finally get to read other materials beside text books. wohoo!

oh yes, i promised to get all my stuff tidied, and everything beside my stuff tidied, and i did.

took me almost a week to tidy my wardrobe, my brother's study table, everybody's books all around the house, the toilet, etc. etc.

am very very satisfied with the work done. i love the tidiness around.

the happiest thing of all, i managed to figure out the clothes to sell off and even done taking pictures of them. *sign of victory on both hands*
